There has been much buzz recently on the internet about trauma and stress and their effect on the physical body. Researchers have found strong relationships between childhood traumas and many disease processes, including ischemic heart disease, cancer, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, autoimmune diseases, and more. And every additional trauma we have during our lives creates new problems in the body.
At DPPS, we help clients successfully address many of these traumas, old and new, with advanced techniques such as Proprioceptive-Deep Tendon Reflex®. However, even with a wonderful healing environment, a well-meaning and skilled therapist, and a client who is very open to healing on multiple levels, sometimes the deeper layers of these traumas remain as hidden triggers for emotional and physical pain.
In these situations, we use a guided meditation technique to clear negative feelings, destructive patterns of thought and behavior, unproductive relationship energy, and disempowering core beliefs with incredible results. Many of our clients report not only changes in their physical symptoms, but also dramatic improvement in their ability to manage stress and emotions in their lives. They are better able to parent their children, engage with their loved ones, and generally have less difficulty in their personal lives and at work.
In September, we will complete our intensive training in a more comprehensive form of trauma therapy called Cellular Release Therapy™. CRT™ allows for deeper clearing and resolution of specific traumas, repressed memories, and destructive beliefs. This is accomplished through a series of questions and instructions spoken directly to the subconscious mind while the client is in a deeply relaxed state. The subconscious mind knows everything that has happened to us. It knows how to heal and effortlessly transform whatever traumatic experiences, upsetting feelings and sabotaging habits we have. This transformation usually happens without having to re-experience the original trauma. This process works by releasing from the client’s subconscious and cellular memories those beliefs, experiences, feelings, habits, and imprints connected with a specific theme. (This theme is developed out of the dialogue at the beginning of each session.)
We are very excited to be able to offer this new therapy technique starting in October of 2016. Not only are we able to offer this to clients in our immediate area, but also to clients across the world via Skype. In fact, Skype sessions are usually very simple and enjoyable for clients, as they can remain in the comfort of their own home while engaging in a deeper level of healing. Both in-office and Skype sessions can be booked online at www.denverpainandperformance.com.
